You can search for a particular journal title using Journals the Library Has. If you are off campus, you should look for a link at the top the reads "Hello, Guest! Login for full access" and login with you last name and library barcode.
Many of these resources we are able to get at deep discounts thanks to our membership in OhioLINK. Switching databases isn't always possible, but please let your liaison librarian know if there's a better resource for your needs.
We have a small collection of print periodicals on the first floor of the library. Several are current subscriptions. You can search for particular titles in our EZRA catalog or browse the collection, which is in alphabetical order by title. Periodicals cannot be checked out.
Some of our older and discontinued periodicals are held in Storage. If you need to use a periodical that is in Storage, please fill out a Retrieval Request form, available online and at the Circulation and Reference Desks. Turn in paper forms at the Circulation Desk. Stored periodicals are pulled every weekday by 10 a.m.
Current, full text access to the New York Times. Login Required. Access to the New York Times online requires an account on their website. To set up an account, go to http://www.nytimes.com/grouppass. You must be on campus (or simulate being on campus, such as using Witt's VPN or virtual desktop) in order to activate the account. Accounts must be renewed annually.
